Validity check
The movement of labour between countries in Europe and other parts of the world increase firmly. To guarantee our trade needs for competent personal a validity check for the non Nordic countries are needed. In the Nordic countries the committee (NEUK ), which has an agreement of the electric certificates in the Nordic countries, are to be accepted across the boarders. We don’t have any agreements like that with our non Nordic countries. In our aim to reach equivalent and fair judgment for the non Nordic work applicants we have implemented a competence test that are to be made before employment.
Judgment Basics
The skill of the work applier shall be measured by a competence test. The level of competence is to be measured with the content of knowledge that is required in the high school steering document for the electrical trade education. With the competence test we measure/compare and place level of the skill competence with the requirement of the trade.
Validity test, employment and certificate
- Documents sent to ECY (such as grades) are to be documented and a written statement is sent back to the person that asked for the statement.
- Appropriate organizer suggests from ECY
- Organizer carry out the validity check and establish what are to be complemented.
- After carried out the complements (if needed) employments are accepted.
- ECY certificate is to be carried out after the concerned taken the complement and shown a document of that 6 month practical work have been carried out in a Swedish electrical installation company.
- Issued ECY certificate is to be handled out from a local repressed person from ELY.
